Their art, “Dropping Anchors”, was selected to be displayed in Singapore Visitor Centre. The intricate and detailed art piece is a manifestation of internal reconciliation between the idea of “home” and other facets of an individual’s life. It inspects concepts of ancestral migration, ethnic dislocation, gentrification and alternative subcultures.

Our role was to find an attractive way of displaying this art that will both draw attention to it but at the same time ensure its aesthetic was in line with the rest of the visitor centre. To that end, we conceptualised a three-dimensional structure to display this art.

Leveraging our expertise in design, construction, and technical solutions, we installed the art in a three-dimensional form, enhancing its visibility and complementing its overall presentation.
